Fine Dining Server

Ability to work in a professional high-pressure environment while demonstrating and maintaining good personal relation/people skills and a positive attitude. Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills; bilingual or multilingual preferred. Ensures prompt, professional service to the guests in the assigned area. Maintains extensive knowledge of national and international wines and foods; in addition to Fine Dining service protocols and procedures.

Guest Service
Uses refined verbal and written communication skills when interacting and engaging with guests.
Anticipates guests' needs and responds appropriately to guests' needs through vigilant attention to follow-up.
Exercises good judgment when dealing with guest's inquiries and complaints.
Maintains knowledge of and effectively promotes company services and player's club program.
Compliance/Procedures/Processes
Practices alcohol awareness and gets manager involved when necessary.
Knows the legal drinking age and procedures for requesting proof of age from guests.
Complies with company and departmental policies and standard operating procedures, applicable governmental laws and regulations.
Understands and practices excellent safety and sanitation procedures.
Table Service
Formalizes, refines, and accomplishes food orders with a high level of personal attention and strong desire to be of assistance.
Ensures tableside preparation and other specialized services are executed with confidence and proficiency.
Maintains tableside service skills. This includes but is not limited to the following: breakdowns of various seafood items; carving of beef and poultry; salad and soup preparations; sauce reductions and dessert preparations.
Guest Interaction
Performs on going quality checks with guests to ensure complete satisfaction with their dining experience.
Refills drinks, as necessary, and clears any unneeded items off the table (pre-bussing).
Menu Knowledge
Describes menu in detail and answers questions regarding menu ingredients and preparation. Informs guests on daily specials.
Maintains complete knowledge of wines, both domestic and international; selection, entr?e accompaniment, presentation, and service.
Makes recommendations to guest when necessary.
Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
Performs proper payment procedures, and assists with guests' departure.
Attends all schedule team member meetings and trainings.
Performs other duties as assigned.
Job Complexity
Works on assignments that are routine in nature but recognizes the need for occasional deviation from accepted practice.
Normally receives instructions on all work.
Refers more complex issues to higher level.
Knowledge and Skills
Bilingual in Spanish preferred.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Ability to multitask and work well under stress.
Must be able to work flexible hours during the day or evening including weekends, holidays, and all blackout dates.
Education
High school diploma or general education degree preferred.
T.I.P.S. Card must be obtained within 90 days of start of employment and recertification maintained throughout employment.
Food Handler's Card must be obtained before commencing work.
Min Quals
Must be 21 years of age or older.
5 years of related experience and/or training required.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
