Resort Concierge

GENERAL SUMMARY
Greets all guests entering the resort with a friendly, upbeat and professional attitude. Answers their questions, and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
CORE SCOPE OF POSITION
Greets all guests entering the casino with a friendly, upbeat and professional attitude.
Assists with ticketing valet vehicles, luggage runs and front desk responsibilities.
Builds and maintains relationships with new, regular, and frequent guests in order to cultivate and encourage repeat visits by using their name.
Answers guests' questions and directs them to the appropriate person or location.
Acts as an ambassador and communicates important information about the casino including promotions, events, club benefits, all gaming area locations, restaurants and VOC information.
Escorts guests to various areas of the casino such as restaurants, valet, bathrooms, gaming areas, and lost and found.
Responds to all guest requests/complaints, and follows through to assure satisfactory outcome and compliance.
Informs supervisors and/or team members from other departments as needed.
While on the casino floor actively seeks out guests who are not in the V Club and utilizes strong sales tactics to promote the V Club program.
Assists graphic, advertising and promotion team with flyer distribution around the casino; and promotional drawings.
Complies with and follows company and departmental policies and standard operating procedures, and applicable governmental laws and regulations.
Ensures that a clean, safe, hazard-free work environment is maintained.
Performs all other duties as assigned.

Interacts with internal and external guests with a positive attitude and professionalism at all times.
SUPERVISION
Does not provide supervisions to others.
EDUCATION/CERTIFICATION
Requires high school diploma, vocational training or the equivalent experience.
EXPERIENCE
1 to 3 years related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Demonstrated strong customer service skills including enthusiastic, energetic, professional, friendly and courteous behavior at all times.
Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills.
Knowledge of basic computer skills.
Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
Ability to adjust to and manage change effectively.
Must be dependable, timely and have high attention to detail.
Must be flexible to work different shifts, evenings, and holidays.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
